 Our instructors at Best Price Driving School are committed to teaching the most dynamic multi-media curriculum in the State of New Mexico. Courses are designed by certified Driver Improvement, DWI, Aggressive Driving instructors. 

Our educators come from a variety of educational backgrounds with a combined many years of teaching, counseling of young students, and administration experience. We teach with compassion and respect for every student. We strive to teach our young drivers the responsibility and safety of the New Mexico roads.

The Traffic Safety Bureau is requiring that all students under the age of eighteen, who apply for a first-time New Mexico Drivers License, take a Driver Education class.

How to get started - State Requirements:  

MUST BE AT LEAST 15 YEARS OLD TO SIGN UP FOR CLASSES

• Enrolled in a state approved driver education program
• Obtain parental or guardian consent
• Pay an registrations fee.​
• Provide identification (State ID, Birth Certificate and/or documentation required by MVD)
• Must pass a written and vision test
• Hold an instructional permit for at least 6 months
• Complete a state approved driver education program
• Drive with an adult 21 years or older who's been licensed for a minimum of three years
• Complete 50 hours of supervised practice; includes 10 hours at night
• Maintain a clean driving record for the 90 days preceding the application for Stage 2.

 Cannot have any drinking and driving violations. Even a .02 % concentration of alcohol in your blood could result in a 6-month or more license revocation.
