Your student must be a minimum of 15 years old. OR Turn 15 years old before the last day of class.
Adults of any age may also partake in drivers education classes. There is no maximum age. No one is too old to learn. Bonus! Completion of a drivers education course could get a 10% discount on your car insurance.
In New Mexico there are 2 options to complete drivers education:
The 56 hour, requires ONLY the 56 hours of classroom instruction to be completed for total completion of the program. This is offered by high schools and some private driving schools.
The 37 hour, requires 30 hours of classroom instruction AND 7 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. This is only offered by private driving schools.
Everyone under the age of 18 years old is required to take Driver's Education.
18 years old and older, it is only required to complete the written Knowledge Exam, the driving Skills Exam, and the None-for-the-road Exam (not required if driver has taken driver's ed. or is 25 or older).
Your student is required to attend all of the Driver Educations class. We understand life happens. Please contact the Office Manger or Owners for further assistance.
There are 7 lessons included in the 30 hour program. There are 3 lessons included in the 56 hour program (subject to change).
We offer a new class usually starting the 1st week of every month. Dates may vary due to holidays.

Yes. The knowledge exam/written exam, and driving skills exam. No additional fee is required in either the 37 hour or 56 hour driver's education packages.
